Drainage Systems
The Environmental Agency has recognised the need to
manage water run off from hard surfacing. Inlay's resin
bound surfacing system is permeable and, if laid onto a
permeable surface such as open textured macadam, will
prevent standing water and encourage rapid drainage to
the underlying ground.
Building regulations for England show the preferred
disposal methods for surface water are:
- Infiltration on site
- Discharge to watercourse
- Connection to a sewer
Specifying Inlay's resin bound surfacing system
will demonstrate to planning authorities implementation
of a sustainable drainage system.
